Join the Eastern Cape Aquarium & Aquascaping Club

Becoming a member of the Eastern Cape Aquarium & Aquascaping Club gives you access to a vibrant community, exclusive resources, and opportunities to deepen your knowledge and passion for aquariums, aquascaping, and aquatic life.

Membership Fees

Membership is based on households, not individuals. Family members living in the same household are all covered under a single membership.

Fee Structure:

  • R270 – Households residing within Port Elizabeth, Jeffreys Bay, Humansdorp, Uitenhage, and Despatch.

  • R100 – Households living outside the above areas and scholars.

Membership fees are payable by the end of February each year. Committee members are always available to discuss arrangements if needed.

Club Meetings

Our meetings are held on the first Saturday of every month, from 14:00 – 18:00.

At each meeting, you can enjoy:

  • A full program of learning and activities.

  • Braai and refreshments.

  • Club auctions featuring member-supplied fish, plants, and dry goods (anyone may bid!).

What to Expect Over the Year

  • Expert talks covering a wide range of topics for both beginners and advanced hobbyists.

  • Discussions on aquascaping, plants, fish breeding, raising live food, and more.

  • Door prizes, trades, and exclusive deals at every meeting.
